Springdale is on the verge of adding a longtime staple in the NWA
specialty sandwich world. Stone Mill Bread Company has been in
business since 1997 at its location on Gregg in Fayetteville and has
since opened a 2nd location in Bentonville. The Springdale location will
be its 3rd store and will provide another dining option for the state's 4th
largest city.
Covid-19 took its toll on many local businesses and Springdale was not
immune to this issue. The Cottom Patch Café was built at 4101 West
Sunset in front of Lowe's and the timing could have been worse. A few
months later the Coronavirus stifled restaurants and Cotton Patch
shuttered its new location. The building is brand new and in excellent
condition and opened the door for Stone Mill to move into a great
situation with a booming population in a turn key building.
If all goes according to plan we should see the new location opened in
the next few weeks. This is perfect as it appears we are taking steps in
the right direction to return to normalcy. As they head into their 25th
year of business let's go give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
