Many people have quarantined themselves and their families in their homes. Others only leave for very essential items and take precautionary measures when they return. Some are living life the same as they did before COVID-19 was ever even discussed here in our country. For one group though life has almost certainly changed dramatically. Our nations seniors in nursing homes and assisted living facilities have, for the most part, been quarantined and completely separated from their visitors. So we had an idea about how the community could reach out to them.

We have compiled a list of facilities here in Springdale where you could simply write to them about what you're doing on Spring Break, how life is going outside their four walls and things that may brighten their days in an otherwise dreary time right now. Maybe you or your kids even end up with a pen pal out of it.
