How Live Springdale Plans To Help Our
Businesses In Town
It is no secret we as individuals are facing trying times right now. It is
also well known that our small business owners face much uncertainty
and distress over the financial well being of not only their businesses
but of their families, their employees and their families as well. So
we've wondered what we can do to help. It has always been our goal to
be positive and shine a light on the good things taking place in our
community. To tell people's stories, who they are and what they do in
our town. So now we're going to go out to them in this strange time and
give them a live opportunity to reach out to you.
I got a text from James Smith of James+James and he asked me to
stop by and discuss how we could help local businesses right now.
After an hour or so of kicking ideas around we decided to go to a
couple of places a day and give them 5 minutes or so n front of our
large audience to show you how you can still support local businesses
in this alternate environment were living in. Talk about a community guy,
James is finishing up an incredible remodel of the Watson Building in
Downtown and moving his entire retail store and still looking for ways to
help others in the community with his own sweat equity for nothing in
return.
Over the course of the next few weeks you will see us pop in at
businesses. We will talk to these business owners. Let them tell their
story. How you can still shop woth them online. Can you order food and
have it delivered or pick it up curbside? They will tell you who they are,
where they go to church, where their kids attend school, what they sell
and who they support in our community. We hope you will choose to
support them financially, but if you can't we hope you'll share your
influence with us. Like, Comment and Share these videos so others
can see their business. Let's work together to forge ahead until we
come out on the other side of this ordeal and be ready to get back to
normalcy stronger than ever before.
