Arkansas Game & Fish Center Progresses
The $18 million Arkansas Game and Fish Nature Center will be focused on highlighting
nature and elements from the Northwest part of our state. It is located on North 40th past
T.G. Smith Elementary. The project was funded in part by a $5 million donation from
Johnelle Hunt and is scheduled for completion sometime in 2020.
The new Nature Center will offer indoor and outdoor classrooms, education pavilions for teaching opportunities. It will also have archery ranges, walking trails, wildlife habitat areas, a creek boardwalk and overlook, wildlife-viewing blinds, and many other conservation education and outdoor recreation amenities.
This facility is a great addition to the quality of life for Springdale and NWA as a whole.
