Growing up in Springdale my parent's office was Downtown next to City Hall. They often sent me down the street to this Springdale institution, more often than not, to pick up their chicken salad sandwiches. Now as an adult I find myself stopping by from time to time be it for breakfast or lunch.
When I stop by in the morning I have the ham and cheese omlette with mushrooms added. It is one of the best omlettes I have ever had. My wife on the other hand loves the quiche and the accompanying orange roll and fruit that comes with it. If it is lunch time it is one of the best places in town to grab a burger. I like the mushroom and swiss burger and the large amount of fries you get with an order. The service has always been excellent and the people very friendly.
There is an ongoing debate in town about who has better pies amongst 2-3 local restaurants. While I am not prepared to say one is better than the other I can tell you that Spring Street is certainly in the running. So if a sweet tooth happens to be your thing make sure you stop by 101 Spring and say hello to Bill Palkowsky and his staff and enjoy an awesome meal.
